Paver & Pool Deck Cleaning

Algae, mold and stains lifted from pavers and pool decks at the right pressure — without stripping joint sand or pitting the surface.

Pavers are not concrete, and cleaning them like concrete is how they get ruined. Each paver is an individual unit held in place by sand packed into the joints between them. Hit that joint with too much pressure and the sand blows out, which loosens the pavers, invites weeds, and eventually lets the whole field shift and settle unevenly.

Done correctly, paver cleaning uses controlled pressure and a pre-treatment that releases the growth chemically rather than blasting it off mechanically. The colour comes back and the joints stay where they belong.

What We Clean

Pool Decks Need Extra Care

A pool deck is a safety surface. The texture that keeps it from being slippery when wet is exactly what aggressive pressure destroys — and once that texture is gone, it does not come back. Travertine and softer natural stone are more vulnerable still. We dial pressure to the material rather than running everything at the same setting, and we control where rinse water goes so cleaning solution does not end up in the pool.

About Joint Sand

Even with careful technique, some sand loss on older installations is normal, particularly where joints were already washed out before we arrived. If your pavers need re-sanding afterward we will say so up front. Anyone who promises zero sand disturbance on a heavily grown-in driveway is guessing.

Sealing

Sealing is a separate service from cleaning, and it should never be done on the same day — pavers need to dry thoroughly first or you trap moisture under the sealer and get a cloudy finish. Cleaning first is the right order regardless of whether you seal later.
